Dr Yohanna Kusuma is currently working as Consultant Neurology; she is presently Head of Neurosonology and Acute Stroke Services Team in National Brain Centre, Jakarta, Indonesia.
She received her basic medical degree from University Catholic of Atma Jaya in 2002. She went for Residency in Neurology Trainning and graduated from University of Indonesia as a Neurologist in 2007.
She did fellowship training in Neurosonology, Clinical Stroke and Research Fellow with National Neuroscience Institute, Singapore General Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital 2008-2008 as well as National University Hospital 2011-2013 under A/Prof NV Ramani, A/Prof Chang Hui Meng and A/Prof Vijay Kumar Sharma.
She is certified in Neurosonology from World Federation of Neurology The Neurosonology Research Group (WFN-NSRG) in 2009 and American Society of Neuroimaging (ASN) in 2013. She is doing PhD with Deakin University, Australia 2017 onwards. Her interests in special clinical and research are in stroke, thrombolysis, neurosonology and neuroimaging.
Where do you see the industry in the next 20 years?
It would be many development in acute stroke management especially in advance imaging as well as intervention
