Shoichiro Sato


Dr Shoichiro Sato, MD, PhD is a Neurologist with the Department of Cerebrovascular Medicine at the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center (NCVC), Japan and an Honorary Senior Research Fellow of the Neurological and Mental Health Division at The George Institute for Global Health, Australia. Shoichiro has specialist qualifications in both neurology and stroke medicine. His research centres on intracerebral haemorrhage (ICH), including blood pressure management, outcome prediction models, and antithrombotic-associated ICH. He is a member of the World Stroke Organization (WSO) Young Stroke Professionals Committee and serves as an editorial board member of Cerebrovascular Diseases.
