Dr. Richard Li is a neurologist at the Department of Medicine, Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, Hong Kong. He received overseas training in neuro-intervention and research in Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia. He was certified in neurosonology by Neurosonology Research Group (NSRG) and American Society of Neuroimaging. He is actively involved in the hyperacute stroke thrombolysis, mechanical thrombectomy, as well as carotid angioplasty service.
He currently serves as council member in Hong Kong Stroke Society and Hong Kong Neurological Society. He was also appointed as honorary clinical assistant professor at the LKS Faculty of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong, and honorary assistant professor at the Nursing School of Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Where do you see the industry in the next 20 years?
New knowledge in stroke medicine will continue to bloom, and much more stroke patients would benefit from the many advances.
