Currently the adjunct assistant professor, faulty of medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and stroke nurse consultant in a cluster containing 3 acute and 2 rehabilitation hospitals in Hong Kong. Developed first and subsequent post registration basic stroke nurse trainings since 1997. Involved in establishing the master degree of stroke and clinical neurosciences course in CUHK. Member of central committee stroke service in Hong Kong Hospital Authority. Running neurology nurse clinic (stroke)to enhance the continuity of care. Edward is a registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner and involve in the deveolpment of Integrated Chinese-Western Medicine in the hospital.

Where do you see the industry in the next 20 years?
The rapid development of reperfusion therapy to minimize neurone loss during stroke; telemedicine to facilitate offsite immediate triage; the enhancement of stratifying stroke patients for different advanced rehabilitation modalities to gain maximum efficiency
